AN UNFORGETTABLE EXPERIENCE

At SDivine Fatima Hotel – Congress & Spirituality you have everything you need to transform your stay into a unique experience. In addition to the comfort and well-being of our accommodation, here you will find peace and tranquillity for moments of meditation and reflection. We have at your disposal some spaces dedicated to religion and introspection.

The Chapel of the Mother of God, a large space that occupies the first floor of the north wing of the hotel and the Chapel of S. José Freinademetz, with a smaller space, in the south wing, are available for Eucharistic celebrations or personal prayer.

Outside, the Way of the Cross and our beautiful gardens complete the spirituality environment that we provide to all who seek Fatima as a pilgrimage and spiritual site.

Mãe do Verbo Divino Chapel

With stained glass windows of Dutch origin and statues of the well-known Portuguese artist Amélia Carvalheira, our main Chapel has a unique artistic beauty. In the presbytery there is a replica of the image of Our Lady of Fatima that is in the rectory of the Sanctuary, made by Manuel Ferreira Thedim.

The Chapel can accommodate about 250 people seated and there are 11 side chapels that, together, have the capacity to receive another 250.

S. José Freinademetz Chapel

Integrated in the Ad Gentes Spirituality Centre, this chapel is a little haven of faith. In 2010, on the 100th anniversary of the death of São Arnaldo Janssen, founder of the Congregation of the Divine Word, the chapel in honour of São José Freinademetz, was completely renovated, becoming an even more cosy space.

On a wooden panel, in front of each of the windows, you can find the image of its Patron and Our Lady of Fatima, by Luís Líbano Monteiro.

Way of the Cross

For those who seek silence and prayer, in one of the corners of our charming gardens, you can find the perfect place – the Way of the Cross.
